The Cactus House in Silver City was a cosy , clean and comfortable spot for us over a long weekend. Check in was smooth as could be. Lauren was proactive in her communication and gave us great ideas of what to do and how to get there. The house is sparkling clean and Lauren’s has provided everything you need to make your stay easy. The decor is tastefully New Mexico ☺️ Great shower!!! I would highly recommend staying at the Cactus House.

Lauren’s place is close to town where there are restaurants and a sweet co-op grocery store. The neighborhood felt safe and neighbors were friendly. Light sleepers should know the home is adjacent to a main road with a nearby hospital so ambulances and traffic noise can be heard. Otherwise, the home had everything we needed and was very clean, and Lauren is a really responsive host. Thank you for the stay Lauren!

My stay at Lauren's Cactus House was WONDERFUL. It was clean, cozy, convenient to everything in Silver City, and I just felt right at home! I slept great in the main bedroom, set up my worktable in the living room so I could look at that big window, and cooked up the homemade food I needed after days on the road. I appreciated all the thoughtful things Lauren had on hand "just in case" - extra toothbrushes, q-tips, to-go containers, etc. There were many homey comforts, like lots of tea options, cozy throw blankets, candles and games. I especially love all the unique artwork...it made the place feel extra special. I feel very fortunate i was able to book time there....Lauren was an amazing host: super friendly, responsive, and just generally cool: )

A good location for seeing Silver City and the surrounding area. A very walkable neighborhood. A very friendly and responsive host!
