银城(Silver City) · 整套客房 · 1室2床1.0卫 · 可住3人 · Casita of Sanctuary
Nestled 1 mile from the Gila National Forest and 1 mile down a dirt road between Silver City & Pinos Altos, a peaceful retreat awaits you. The casita kitchen allows you to prepare your own meals. The location allows you to enjoy Downtown Silver City restaurants & galleries 15 minutes away, or the iconic Buckhorn Saloon & Opera House just up the road in Pinos Altos. We are on-site, life long locals, and welcome those who enjoy the rugged beauty of SW New Mexico. Our 650 square foot casita has been a labor of love that we've been honored to share with friends and family, and are pleased to now share on airBnB. 1-3 adults can fit comfortably, with a living/dining area, kitchen with all the amenities, 1 full bathroom, 1 bedroom w/ queen size bed+ a twin size bed in the nook off of the kitchen. There is a mini-split ac/heat unit in the both the living room and bedroom. Please see pictures for more details. We love living in forest terrain, but just 10 minutes from the intersection of Hwy 15 and 32nd Street Bypass. The nearest public access to the Gila National Forest is one mile away. Our daytime skies are some of the bluest, and our nightime skies are some of the darkest. The casita has its own dedicated WiFi for your personal devices, as well as a smart TV in the living room (no cable, satellite, or antenna). The kitchen includes a fridge/freezer, two gas burners, microwave, air fryer, coffee maker + all the amenities you'll need to prepare simple meals. The bedroom is accessed through the bathroom. There is a solid, heavy door separating the living area and bathroom, and a light-weight, accordian style door separating the bathroom and bedroom. This lighter door affords visual privacy but is not soundproof. Please review the pictures and consider your comfort levels with this set-up as you plan. Our water comes from our well. We are thankful for the good water pressure our well provides, and request that our guests are sustainably minded in regards to shower lengths and running water. The family German Shepherd joins us on the property as we tend the chickens and go on walks, and may run up to introduce itself to you if given the opportunity. Out of consideation for those with pet allergies, we do not allow pets in the casita.
I had a wonderful stay in the casita, which had everything I needed: a kitchen with a two-burner stove, microwave, coffee maker, etc. plenty of cooking pans and utensils, plates, cups, etc. The bathroom was spotless and there was plenty of hot water for the shower. The casita itself is quite roomy and has a relaxing atmosphere—a great place to spend the evening after enjoying the Gila. Silver City, with restaurants, shopping, etc. is less than ten minutes away, but you wouldn’t know it because you are surrounded by quiet.
This casita was the perfect base of operations for us to see the Tour of the Gila, just far enough from the din, yet close enough to enjoy the spoils of some of the great restaurants we found in Silver City and Pinos Altos. We also cooked a meal and found the kitchen was nicely stocked with tools and consumables (including coffee). Rebekah met us upon arrival and introduced us to Petra (the German Shepherd). This is how an Airbnb is done.
Had a perfect stay at Rebekah's casita - we highly recommend staying there! Her place was very clean and we had everything we needed. Rebekah is very friendly and welcoming. We really liked the location as it is very peaceful and private yet just a short drive to restaurants, coffee shop, etc. We will definitely stay again when in the area. Thanks Rebekah!
Rebekah’s place was very clean, well furnished and quiet. It is near Silver City and located at the edge of the Gila Forest, which is one of our favorite places. We able to meet and chat with Rebekah on several occasions, which is something we enjoy doing with our hosts. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer.
Located in a rural neighborhood.
We are rural, one mile down a dirt road, and there's a good chance you'll spot some deer on the way over. Standard vehicles manage the road fine at low speeds, but your car will likely get dusty. 4wd is necessary only a few snow days a year.
自我介绍
My husband and I are proud to be Silver City natives. We've wondered the world a little, but after several years we came to understand that there's no place like home. We love our home nestled close to the Gila National Forest, and welcome those who cherish the peace and quiet found only down a long dirt road.
