This place matches the pics better than most places I’ve stayed. It’s secluded and very peaceful- sitting out back watching the river slowly flow past is like stepping into a meditation app. The rate was fairly high but it was during the eclipse so that was expected (and totally worth it- no pun).

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our week at this precious lake house. It’s in a beautiful and peaceful spot right on the river. The only sounds we heard outside were nature sounds! AND….. we were visited twice by the resident bald eagle! It was truly a week of relaxation and unplugging and just enjoying our surroundings!! We will be back!! The house has everything you need and decorated just perfectly!

This was a beautiful cabin with no detail left out with everything feeling incredibly intentional. Everything was very clean and there was not a single amenity missing - from dishes to drinkware to super fast wifi to the coziest porch perfect for reading and watching the boats go by, this cabin had it all. It was the perfect place for a relaxing weekend, and we will definitely be back!

I’m not really one to leave a bad review but I’m not going to lie and say how wonderful it was. The house is cute and decorated so nice, just like the photos, so no surprises there. What we were surprised at was the amount of dog hair all over a house with a strict no pet policy?? Even the dogs water bowl still had water in it. I swept up grass, dirt, crumbs, and dog hair out of the floor and used Clorox wipes to clean sticky dirty spots off of the floor. The kitchen trash can was full with someone else’s trash. Dog hair all over the couch and a dirty napkin stuffed under a couch pillow. The living room television never worked. I notified the Evolve contact of all of this, they offered to send a cleaning service out the next day. I responded that we had already started our own cleaning but wanted the living room tv situation corrected and I never heard back from them again. Also when we stripped bed sheets the mattress pads had dog hair and grass all over them. Filthy.
