On a positive note, the property is surprisingly large for a 1-bed apartment. Period features with large windows and high ceilings, it felt spacious. However, there is a distinct musky smell from the time you walk through the communal space. The property is sparsely decorated and doesn’t feel homely so not a place I wanted to stay more than a couple of nights. As a single female traveler, I didn’t feel safe as the property is located at the end of a no through road, with what looks like wasteland directly outside (the photos are photoshopped with the outside view screened). In addition, there is a regular stream of loud groups of youths walking by outside and, as the property is on the ground floor, I had to keep the shutters closed. Overall, I didn’t enjoy my stay, and cut my visit short.

Good value for size and over bank holiday weekend. Comfortable bed and sofa bed. Easy location for shops, bars etc. was visiting family so nice central location to meet up in town. Would stay again. overall a good stay. Would recommend

Neat and tidy. Great location, peaceful locality, walkable distance from city centre , train station and supermarket. Enjoyed my stay.
