Stayed here 2 weeks and it was very enjoyable. The yard is fenced off so it's private, and is well maintained. The cabana owners have tried to think of all the little things to make your stay more enjoyable and the rooms were newer and well maintained. It is less than 200 steps to the local store and not much farther to the east shore of the island. Bicycles provided make it easy to explore the north island, including a nearby west beach to watch the sunset, and visit the local crocodile that lives in an open dugout. We made a lot of trips to the south island as well, which is definitely busier, so make sure you buy a punch card for the ferry if you plan to do that. It is a good value. There are only 3 restaurants on the north island, All within walking distance from the property.

Vielen Dank für den freundlichen Empfang: Transfer ist gut organisiert, in der Wohnung fehlt es an nichts und die bereitgestellten Fahrräder sind einem Topzustand😀! einziger Wermutstropfen ist der, dass Caye Calker Nord leider eine gigantische Baustelle ist und man zur Zeit außer Bauarbeitern kaum Menschen auf der Straße sieht. Danke einmal alles👋

Die gemütliche Cabana liegt in der Mitte vom nördlichen, ruhigeren Teil der Insel. Zum Strand sind es jeweils nach rechts und links ein paar 100 m, die mit den kostenlos bereitgestellten Fahrrädern gut zu machen sind. Auch der Transfer (gegen Gebühr) auf den südlichen Teil, Achtung: es gibt 2 konkurrierende Fähren, ist mit den Fahrrädern gut möglich. Die Hütte ist sehr sauber, das Bett bequem und die Küche vollständig eingerichtet. Trotz der zahlreichen Sandfliegen haben wir die Abende auf der Terrasse genossen. Dort sind Bast-Rollos angebracht, die Wind und zuviel Sonne abhalten. Wir wurden von dem "Split", dem "Durchbruch" zwischen den Inseln mit dem Golf-Car abgeholt und zur Unterkunft gebracht, was sehr angenehm war. Auch am Abreisetag war das möglich. Die Kommunikation mit den Hosts war schnell und unkompliziert. Wir hätten gerne verlängert ...
