We stayed over a bank holiday weekend (family of five with kids 8, 5 and 3). We know the area well and were delighted to find a property in Fordington Green. It is the perfect area for exploring Dorchester- near enough to the centre of town but also near to the edge of town to go out walking in the countryside. Fordington Green is such a sweet and beautiful location - we loved the cafe and the deli being just a few doors down. We loved having easy access to the river walk which we did a number of times during our visit. The host was extremely attentive. We had home made scones, fresh bread and milk left for us. There was even some tasty local gin (we returned to the shop and bought a big bottle to take home). The house is very sweet, particularly highlights include the gorgeous bathroom, the lovely artwork and the mature large garden. It is very comfortable, easy to use and the kitchen is one of the best equipped I have ever rented. Thank you so much!

The place is lovely. A great location, pistine, homely, comfortable, beautifully decorated and really well equiped. Rebecca went the extra mile, before and during our visit. She gave us a lovely warm welcome and had amazing homemade scones and jam, drinks, sourdough bread and milk waiting for us (she even checked our dietary requirements before we arrived and gave us parmesan from her own fridge when we needed some)! There's so much to see and do around in this part of the world. Added bonus - nice little fish and chip shop a few doors down. HIGHLY recommend Rebecca's place - a fantastic stay.

Absolutely fantastic place to stay, in every way. Perfectly clean, well located and stylishly decorated. Extremely comfortable beds and includes everything you could possibly need for a short stay. Would highly recommend and hope to stay again.

Even better than it looks in the photographs….and that’s saying something. A truly charming property. Beautifully decorated throughout and very well equipped. Super location!

We stayed for 2 nights at Rebecca’s. Although it is in the busy town of Dorchester, the house itself is in a quiet spot and within east walking distance of pubs, restaurants and shops if you need them. The house did not disappoint and was well furnished, spotlessly clean and spacious. Rebecca is lovely, very helpful and the perfect host.
