Meanwhile, beautiful beaches and the charming harbour town of Padstow, renowned for its superb restaurants, are only a 10-minute drive away. Step under the granite archway and in through the front door and you’ll soon discover this cottage is spacious and immaculately presented. Handpicked, original artworks work beautifully against the period features of the house which spans three floors, while creature comforts include fast WiFi throughout. On the ground floor, there is a generously proportioned, open-plan layout, ideal for socialising together. However, the clever design means it is broken up into zones with a double-fronted, wood-burning stove set into a feature fireplace dividing up the lounge and dining areas. The lounge has sofas and armchairs to get cosy on for movie nights on the Smart TV, while the dining table comfortably seats eight. In the country-style kitchen, you’ll find everything you will need to self-cater with ease including a Rangemaster oven, a microwave, an American style fridge/freezer with ice machine, a toaster, a kettle, a coffee machine and a dishwasher. There is also a downstairs cloakroom with WC. Upstairs on the first floor is the master bedroom with a super-king-size bed, a Smart TV and an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower and freestanding slipper bath. Opposite the master is another bedroom that has two single beds and an en-suite shower room.
