A wonderful house, we had an extended Easter break. Lovely views, walk to Mawgan Porth beach where you can find all the amenities., close to Padstow, easy commute to Newquay airport, golf and exploring surrounding beaches. The house is well equipped, clean and spacious.

Amy is the perfect host, very proactive and engaging, and Carne Crest was such a treat. The location is superb, the views stunning and we had the most relaxing and indulgent break in Mawgan Porth as a result. Waking up every morning, come rain or shine, to that view was like therapy and our cocker spaniel loved every minute of his runs on the beach and snoozes in the sunshine streaming through the floor to ceiling picture windows! Would return without hesitation, thank you!

Amy is very friendly and responsive. The house has great spaces for large groups. The views are SPECTACULAR, amazing walks. If you are a large group of 8+ you’ll love this place. Amy was great in making lots of recommendations also. I hope you enjoy as much as we did. 😂🙏

I’d really recommend Amy as a host, she is really responsive and communicated well throughout my booking. The house was really spacious and worked well for our family gathering. It was my mums birthday the day we arrived and Amy had organised a birthday cake & prosecco on our arrival which was a nice touch. The house had the most amazing views and was really light and bright. The outside stairs are a bit tricky for elderly relatives but if this isn’t an issue for people the house is perfect.

Amy’s home in Mawgan Porth was such a delight. There was ample space for all 13 of us. The two sets of kitchens and living space both downstairs and upstairs were the real clincher for us. It allowed us to have separate spaces, if needed, and was a real winner for Christmas dinner prep. The house supplied tons of glassware, plates, bowls, mugs and flatware, three refrigerators and four ovens. A dream! The views were spectacular, and although the winter weather supplied high winds and rain for a lot of the time we were there, the house was very cozy and a wonderful space for us to all gather and celebrate the holidays. The costal path was just a few houses down the street from the house and we took advantage of the walk to cream tea whenever the weather broke. Would hands down rent here again and very impressed with Amy and her communication before and during our stay!
