What an interesting experience this was for us. While the house itself was beautiful& well-equipped, the property instructions were very vague & inconsistent. The host was non-responsive until I contacted AirB&B to say there had been no response. Then the host replied that she needed to get someone out to the property to address the issues, but never heard back from her again.While the issues were not deal-breakers, when you pay as much as you do in services & cleaning fees, you expect to not have the number of issues that we ran into. Those included: - Multiple light bulb outages, including the main basement stairwell that left the stairs dark and dangerous - Pink mildew in the shower, dead flies in the window sills, & crusty spots on the rug - An annoying running toilet - No batteries in tv remote - outdoor grill & firepit but no propane or instructions - non-responsive host My hope is this was in usual, but the fees don’t make sense w/ the lack of response and cleanliness.

We had a fantastic stay at the Island Duck Away house in Edisto!! It was great for our group and we enjoyed watching all of the golfers come through. We will definitely stay here again!!

The home was absolutely perfect for our girls getaway for our mom’s birthday. The decor and furniture so beautiful. The beds were the most comfortable. We loved how organized everything was especially the kitchen! Thank you for an amazing stay. We definitely will be back!

Fabulous home with a beautiful location! The house is a 3 minute walk to the beach- so convenient! The home is very clean and has a well stocked kitchen. It’s as beautiful as it appears in all the pictures. The beds are comfortable. The table comfortably seats 12 for dinner or games. We had a wonderful week with lots of room for our family and friends! We look forward to future vacations in this home!!
