Overall we enjoyed our stay. The house was as pictured and in a nice location. We thought the beds were comfy and the linens were nice. There was a terrible odor in the fridge for the first full day, dirty cabinets and a large pile of some sort of bugs in the master bathroom. George was not the host, rather it was a rental company, and they were difficult to reach. They did send someone to check on the bug infestation but there seemed to be some sort of miscommunication, and he was not able to do anything about it during our stay. The algae/mold in the pool stated in a previous review was still there, but the rental company said it was something else. It really didn’t affect our ability to enjoy the pool too much, we just stayed in the shallow end where it was clean. With minor adjustments, I think the house could be worth the money.

We booked this house for a long weekday on labor day to see Lake Travis and the location was great in proximity to the lake, even with the drought. House was massive and everyone was comfortable.

Overall, we had a positive experience. We had a large group that needed a large space & this house was it. Pros: The house is beautiful and clean, the kitchen was well stocked with lots of utensils, cups, & even spices! Cons: The house was hot. The AC wasn't super powerful & there were no ceiling fans or airflow in any of the bedrooms or in the living room downstairs. Fans should be installed or box fans should be provided because it was 105 degrees outside! The pool was dirty. It had a weird mold/algae on the walls. The house is managed by an outside company. They had us sign an extensive contract and were not good about returning phone calls. They didn't provide us with a gate code so we had to reach out to them upon arrival. They also sent a somewhat threatening text message saying the neighbors had complained about us being loud when we were all indoors before the quiet hours started. Also said not to park on the grass when they could see on the cameras that we weren't??
