Perfect place to stay in the San Diego downtown with reasonable price. Managers are so kind and they always tried to help me. Also, the room is so clean. Whenever I visit San Diego, I'll definitely come this room again. The best.

Such an amazing place. Lazarus was so kind and always attentive to my needs. They allowed me to enter the hostel early, lent me an umbrella for the rainy day and gave me the opportunity to keep my luggage according to my flight schedule. Is nearby the convention center and facilities are comfortable and clean. I hope to return soon.

This is a great location for the gas lamp district. It was clean and had all of the amenities as described. Do not stay here if you need or want quiet to sleep. The space is above a night club on weekends and a restaurant/bar for the weekdays. It is in the description. That being said, it was very convenient, absolutely no need for a car.

The hosts went above and beyond in helping me during my stay, for example by proactively providing me with an umbrella when it started raining heavily outside. They checked in repeatedly and were always responsive. As others have mentioned, the area can get quite loud during weekend nights, but the location works very well for someone visiting to attend a conference at the convention center, or to take a stroll along the beautiful shoreline.

The place was great. Communication for check in and out and flexibility appreciated. Gas Lamp location fantastic but does include bar noise in the distant background, as one would expect for the neighborhood. No hesitation to return.
