Absolutely loved our stay! We have a 1.5, 3, 5 and 7yr old and the place was just perfect for the family! We could just let the kids play around the house, in the sand pit, play room or trampoline giving the parents and aunts and uncles a lovely chance to either cook, talk/bond or even play with them! The heated pool was awesome because even if the weather was chilly, everyone still got to enjoy a fun swim together ❤️ you’d definitely need a car as it’s not walking distance to anything BUT Orewa beach is just about a 5min drive away which also has a beautiful stretch of beach with a playground and good fish and chips 😆 lovely area! And would definitely stay here again with family ❤️ if you’re needing a place appropriate for smaller kids, THIS IS IT! ❤️ The playroom has a lot of toys, a play kitchen and there are even kiddie utensils for the kids to use ❤️ the kitchen is complete and everything is easy to use :) the hosts were always responsive and very pleasant in their responses! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

We have had the pleasure of staying at Jen and Mark’s twice now. Both times were amazing. The location of the house couldn’t be more perfect - 5 minutes to Orewa shops and 5-10 minutes to multiple beaches. Situated on a hilltop, the views of the ocean and the sunsets are beautiful. The house is modern, exceptionally clean and well appointed with everything you need for a large group. We had two families staying there - the space checked every box with plenty of bedrooms and comfortable beds ensuring a restful nights sleep, multiple bathrooms, two living spaces, flexible indoor and outdoor dining and living plus the amazing “always warm” plunge pool which the kids had hours of fun in. The well equipped kitchen and butlers pantry made meal times easy and fun. Jen and Mark were exceptional hosts . They were responsive, kind, accommodating, and genuinely cared about ensuring we had everything we needed - nothing was too much trouble. We would highly recommend their home to anyone!

As a large whanau that travel together it is often difficult to find accommodation that is 1. Large enough to fit us and 2. comfortable enough that it doesn’t feel like we’re squashed. Jen and Mark’s home was easily both those things for us. Their home is large, spacious and absolutely beautiful. Communication with Jen and Mark was top notch…best we’ve had actually. They made checking in and asking questions that arose so easy. The swimming pool, play room and outdoor play areas were hits for our small children. While the coffee machine, bbq, butlers kitchen and multiple bathrooms were a hit for the adults. We definitely would recommend to anyone to stay here and families with children in particular! We’d stay again in a heartbeat! Thank you for a wonderful stay Jen and Mark, the whole experience was just lovely! We hope to stay with you again in the near future :)

Absolutely lovely house with all the bits and pieces needed to keep it clean. We loved the pool and play room and the large spaces. Would highly recommend this place to others. Thank you for being great hosts!
