Great stay. Right near Evan’s street and there’s a path leading right to a small bench facing the sound. You’re right next to Arendell street near downtown Morehead, so noise is as expected. It’s an old house so cleanliness leaves much to be desired. Bathroom in particular was more rough than pictured. Could probably use a good deep cleaning soon.

Our stay at the Anchor Cottage was such a treat! The home was clean and well-stocked. We had a few basic questions throughout the 9-day stay and our host, Mary, was quick to respond and resolve any questions that we had. The historic neighborhood was charming and our two little schnauzers enjoyed their walks in the morning. We felt the dogs were safe in the totally enclosed backyard. Morehead City is full of great restaurants and is convenient for fun side trips. We whole-heartedly recommend the Anchor Cottage!
