This cottage was a great find. It was located in a quiet little neighborhood. It was well furnished, plenty of seating, comfy beds, and lovely little patio for evening relaxing. Great kitchen and clean spacious bathrooms. While not directly on the water, it was a very short walk to the water where there was a small dock for fishing. We could easily walk our kayaks out for a paddle. This is a quiet area and close to the busy Morehead City waterfront, Atlantic Beach, etc. Great restaurants and lots of beach and site seeing options. The Welcome Center in town was very helpful with things to see and do. The property management was easily reachable and very responsive when our entry code did not work upon arrival. She quickly updated the code while I was on the phone with her, and got us in.

Mary was very attentive and the house was located right near the sound which was amazing for fishing.

The cottage was perfect for us. Location location location. Walked to everything (our daughter’s wedding at Jack’s on the Waterfront). Only complaint: kitchen provisions, salt and pepper - none, dishwasher detergent - none, dish detergent - none. Only 2 garbage bags. Had to go buy those things. Otherwise, cute, cozy, clean. Loved it.
