Jhovana’s place is well located for exploring Manhattan. There’s bus stops nearby, although exploring on foot is easy. The laundrette is 2 doors away, supermarket opposite. If you are planning on remote working then the local library is a perfect place and just a 5 min walk. Jhovana had thought of everything and it’s evident they work really hard to make sure your stay works well. The bed is super comfy, the room feels very private and is just opposite the shared bathroom. I loved my East Village experience, and hold great respect for Jhovana, who’s incredibly hardworking, and who is willing to share their home.

Jhovana was absolutely incredible. She made sure you felt right at home and had plenty of privacy but was also available to you for questions if you had any. She was super welcoming and her pup was just as friendly and welcoming. I will stay with her every time she’s available when I visit New York in the future, that’s how much this place felt right at home.

I stayed at Jhovanna's palce for 5 weeks and I had the most amazing time. She lives in a very nice neighborhood surrounded my bars cafes and clubs. I felt directly at home and she and Cachi took such good care of me. It felt like living with family and I am super grateful for the chance to get to know her. <3

I really enjoyed the time there. It is convenient to everywhere. Everything is perfect. Jhovana and Cachito are so lovely! I hope to see them again.

A great room in a fantastic area of New York. There were plenty of restaurants and bars in the area. The room itself was clean and comfortable with lots of storage space, air conditioning and complimentary water / toiletries which was a thoughtful touch. Considering how central it was, the room was so quiet! The bathroom is shared, and is kept very clean (as was the kitchen). Jhovana is friendly, quick to respond to queries and gave great local suggestions — she was a fantastic host. She has a large, very friendly dog called Cachito, who was around during our stay. We love dogs and had no problem with this, but it’s a detail to bear in mind if you’re nervous of dogs as he can be quite bouncy; Jhovana does make this very clear on the ad. Overall, a fab New York base. Not cheap, but not overpriced for the area / amenities.
