Our stay here at Denise’s place was amazing. Definitely wish it were longer! The little town of Saxis is very peaceful and welcoming. A nice place to visit to slip away and relax for a little while. Denise was on top of communication she was very friendly and the house was very easily accessible and well equipped with everything you could need. Her house was extremely comfortable and very clean. I wouldn’t think twice to book with Denise again and would recommend her home to anyone looking to stay in this area!

This is a quiet fishing village. It is peaceful, with a great fishing dock and a cute cafe for breakfast/lunch. Chincoteague is 30 min away and offers a beach, ocean fishing, and restaurants. To me it is perfect to stay in Saxis and go to Chincoteague for beach and dinner. The folks in Saxis are warm and welcoming. Great place to take your bike!
