We stayed in this AirBnB for a week and we loved it here. It was as advertised. Spacious, breezy, clean, great view. We could walk to anything. Communication with host was easy and friendly. Maelle set up our transportation to the airport and checked in with us during the week. It was worth every penny.

This beautiful place was even better than described. The pictures truly don’t do it justice! The wrap around patio with all different types of seating areas allowed us to enjoy the views and outside breeze in our own style. The sliding doors and windows all around the house allowed for amazing air floor, but on the 2 days when the heat was more then expected (not the hosts fault for the weather) the AC came in very handy. The host left great recommendations for food, places and activities. We highly recommend the guided tour at Charles Darwin Conservancy, Pinzon snorkeling tour (it’s the best), also snorkeling Bahai tour. Go walk to Tortuga Bay early in the Am and walk all the way to the end on the right side to a small beach to see baby hammerhead sharks! Find the $1 soft serve and get the guava/ coconut!! Also stop at Lacheviches and get the $3 frozen coconut drinks. Thank you to these gracious hosts for their generous hospitality, sharing of fresh bread and local insights!

Maelle and her brother Mathew were very responsive and made renting the apartment very easy and seamless. The property had the most amazing balcony and view of the bay, was well appointed, and clean. Everything we wanted was an easy walk - being only one block from Charles Darwin Avenue. The kitchen had everything we needed for a comfortable stay - and the air conditioning was a nice respite after a day hiking to Tortuga Bay.

The apartment is beautiful, and the view is spectacular. We explored Santa Cruz in the mornings and returned in the early afternoon when it started heating up outside, but the apartment was always shaded with a breeze blowing through. We were there for a week and never turned on the AC or closed the glass doors or windows.
