I am so grateful I got to spend time is this absolutely majestic place. The cabin is light, simple, cozy, and peaceful and is placed perfectly in the midst of one of the most beautiful pieces of nature I’ve ever seen. I went in the middle of winter, during a snow fall and the quiet and peace and beauty of the surroundings and home were like a dream. The property is breathtaking and very private. There are paths down to the pond and beyond into the most beautiful forest. I was able to see wildlife not only while on my walks but from the comforts of the cabin. There is a huge picture window overlooking a tree occupied by two bald eagles. Watching them at sunrise was something I’ll never forget. Alex was so kind and helpful. He responded to any inquiry I had and made me feel so welcome. I cannot wait to come back to this place. It was more than I could have hoped for. Thank you so much for having me and for sharing such a special place.

Alex was a phenomenal host. We had a little hiccup with the lights at the location- and he was not only responsive, but so incredibly helpful! The cabin was homey and so peaceful. Perfect spot for a little local getaway with my husband and pup! It was a pleasure staying at Alex’s cabin in Mountaindale, and we hope to do it again soon!
