We enjoyed our stay at this large historic home and would recommend it. The property is nicely decorated and full of interesting things. The kitchen was well stocked. The stereo/turntable and speakers were a great addition, along with the large TV in the living room. There is a big yard in the back with a grill and fire pit. The town is peaceful and quiet. There is a good supermarket across the street and a few restaurants, but didn’t see any open at dinner in April.

What a delightful and lovely home! Felt like an old farmhouse, with charming and eclectic details. Very spacious and clean. Cute little coffee shop/gift shop across the street, and small market also. Christopher was very responsive, and proactive with communication. There wasnt much we needed but he would have been available! This is a fabulous place to stay to explore Gananoque/1000 Islands region. Highly recommend!

We rented this place for a weekend with the family and our two dogs. This place was perfect. Three bedrooms was great for two people and one couple. Being able to have the dogs was a huge plus, it made the trip a lot less stressful not having to find someone to look after them. The house is beautiful, charming and thoughtfully decorated. It’s situated in a cute little town, not much going on but for a weekend stay you don’t need much. On the same street you have a grocery store and a café (with lovely owners by the way). For other things you’ll have to drive about 15 minutes into the city (restaurants, Tim’s Starbucks ect.) but it wasn’t a bother for us since we didn’t go out much. The hosts were super responsive and answered any questions or concerns we had very quickly. Highly recommend this place!
