We traveled with our family -two toddlers- to Nairobi and stayed at Maksim's place. It's perfect for families, there is a playground and a pool nearby and the backyard is beautiful. The only issue was that we arrived very late at night and there was no one to open the door for us, they seemed to not be expecting us. Luckily we read in one of the reviews that there was a driver that lived on the premises and he was able to open the door for us. There are no bedsheets and the house helper had to come to house at midnight to put them in the beds (we could have done it but she had taken them to wash them). Aside from that stressful check in experience, everything was great and we really enjoyed the house.

We didn’t expect much. Very glad with the location and the very safe surroundings. With my parents leaving close by, we however had to organise a thourough clean at our own cost as the house was dusty and unclean. We also had to use our own linen, coffee making utensils, towels. The power back up also does not work which meant multiple power losses during outtages, the house manager was unresponsive at times and for simple tasks such as bulb replacements (multiple were blown out) it took 5 days to address. The only positives really were the wonderful location, safe neighbourhood and the wonderful transport facilities and the very pleasant driver, Peter. It’s a shame because for a wonderful location this property has so much potential we’re it managed up to average Airbnb standards.

We enjoyed staying at the house for 1 week. Its in a nice gated community which is very peaceful. We felt at home as the house had everything we needed (clean towels, blankets, cooking utensils. etc.) There is a playground in the community that is great for kids. Getting in and out via Uber was pretty easy. Overall, it was a great value for the price point.

We had a pleasant stay at the comfortable compound. The assistance of Derida, Peter (the driver) and Peter (the gardener) were invaluable. They really added a enormous amount of pleasure to our stay and stand ready to help out whenever requested!
