Tucked away in a corner of Southwest Florida, resides Solstice Punta Gorda, a unique retreat resort like nothing else in the United States. Costa Rican and Bali vibes- no passport required. The property has 7 unique bungalows, a waterfall pool with grotto, a Native American Chickee Hut, hot tubs, a dedicated meditation/zen area, multiple hammocks, and many nooks and crannies to feel like you are truly getting away from it all. Decorated in the sweet, bright colors of the fruit, the Papaya has a private entrance, two bedrooms, and a private (beautiful!) kitchen and bathroom. The shared areas of this property are all outdoor. Common spaces include: our screened porches, pool, and two hot tub areas. Your bungalow is completely private with your own bedroom(s), private kitchen and private bathroom. ***Each room has two twin beds that can be converted into a king bed when requested. Bed set ups cannot be guaranteed for same-day bookings after 3pm. Please message us for details if you need a same-day booking.*** Also included with your stay at Solstice Punta Gorda: -Waterfall pool with grotto -Two hot tub areas -Outside showers -Multiple hammock/relaxation areas -Screened-in porches -Grills and griddle on site -Meditation/Zen quiet zone -Native American Chickee hut for events -Outside bathroom -Pool towels and loungers -Outdoor games (Jenga/Cornhole) -1.5 miles to downtown area -Plush mattresses, pillows, and luxury linens -Essential oil diffusers in every room -Coffee in room -Tommy Bahama shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, and lotion -Hair dryers -Wifi -Roku in every bungalow (no cable) -Property manager always available **A note about our pool and hot tubs** HEAT: We heat our pool to 84-85 degrees between October and April WATERFALL: The waterfall runs from 10am-5pm. HOT TUBS: Regarding the hot tub in the grotto area, the heat is turned on at 5pm when the waterfall turns off. During the day this particular hot tub is the same temperature as the pool. If you'd like to use a hot tub during the day, please exit through the back of the pool to our meditation area. There is a hot tub there that is heated 24/7. :)

Relaxing and beautiful property
Very calming and peaceful setting. It felt like we had the place to ourselves. Our unit was very clean. Unfortunately the weather was cooler than normal so we didn’t use the beautiful pool, but we did enjoy the hot tub. It was a short drive to Fisherman’s Village, which was where our group was meeting up. We would not hesitate to stay there again. We had the Papaya bungalow, which featured the beautiful huge kitchen to handle group rentals - 3 ovens and 2 cooktops.
Very cute resort with shared common spaces. Would be a 5 star review had the Pool and stone hot tub been heated. We also had to help other guests find their accommodations and figure out how to use the grill (fireplace matches would be helpful). I also recommend replacing the chairs in the common area as many were broken or just uncomfortable, and repairing the dangerous broken planks in the deck walkways. Overall the staff was friendly and responsive & the rooms were clean with confortable bedding. For the price, this was a good find.

Our party of 4 thoroughly enjoyed our time at Robbin's place. It's funky and different and that's what we loved about it. As described, there are lots of nooks and crannies to discover on the property with something different around each bend. We loved the hot tub in the evening. We stayed in Papaya Bungalow and found the beds to be really comfy. The screened porch at the back of Papaya Bungalow was a special treat and we spent every evening out there. Very peaceful. The location is convenient, only 1.5 miles from the restaurants and shops in Punta Gorda and only a bit further to Fisherman's Village.
