This place was so comfortable and exactly as shown in the photos. Right there on the lake. Excellent for sitting out on the great back deck with comfortable patio furniture. The hot tub was an excellent end to a nice day. Shasta retreat was an excellent get away and comfortable inside and out. Lori was quick to respond to a text. A binder full of suggestions and great recommendations. The basshole was a great dive bar close by for dinner. The kitchen is well supplied with what you need. A very generous welcome basket with a variety of great things. Off season was nice and quiet for this beautiful place to stay.

THE LAKE VIEW WAS AWESOME! Everyone morning we looked forwards towards watching the sunrise over the mountains and lake. The weather did not cooperate with us on the rainy days but we still managed to get some hiking done at Castle Crags on a rainy day with appropriate gear. The view of Mt Shasta on a sunny day was amazing as we drove towards it on a water fall chasing day. The whole area is just filled with hiking trails and water falls so get in shape before visiting the Shasta area. Make sure to stop by the Basshole Brews for dinner at least once and experience one of the best burgers you will ever taste. It was the best burger I ever had and I’ve had many in many more and highly regarded restaurants. It was overall an amazing vacation with my little family of 4 but for sure the cabin can hold a much bigger family and friends or just book another cabin next to it and make it a reunion. Thanks Lori for allowing us to experience part of God’s creation!

Loved our stay at this home on the lake. The house was super clean, had all the amenities to make our stay comfortable, and the view off the back deck was gorgeous. Lori was such a great communicator and made the whole process smooth. Will definitely book again.
