It was WONDERFUL. Did not want to leave. My 4 year old made a zillion cockatoo friends and so did I - every morning and afternoon was an exciting time feeding the birds, have a spa, play with all the toys provided. My teenager found serenity, peace, comfy bed. It felt like home. The kind of home you never want to leave. A homely, home away from home but you still know you are on holiday. Myself, 44, ternager, of 13 and 4 year old, we all found our different reasons to love the place and our stay. Will be back again... in a heart beat. Enjoy the comfy beds, the warmth you can feel the owners care in and within the place.

We loved the place. It had everything we needed and it was clean and comfortable. The kids especially loved feeding the cockys every day.

We had a great stay at the lodge. The surroundings were beautiful and peaceful, we were incredibly comfy and the kitchen was excellently provisioned. It was furnished and styled beautifully, think hunting lodge chic, with lots of cute little touches placed around. My friend wanted me to mention that she loved the lamps with the USB ports in them, it made charging devices so much easier.

Great location (10 minutes walk into Warburton town - just be mindful of the very long steep hill on the way back). The house offered everything that we needed - good view, good amount of board games and wifi/smart TV for streaming. Just be mindful tht it's not a huge house - we had 5 adults and 1 child and it seemed pretty crowded. We got the fireplace cranking every day as the house stays pretty chilly (even on 28 degree days). I'd also recommend that you bring a proper kitchen knife with you if you are going to cook as all the knives in the house are extremely blunt.
