The neighbourhood is quiet with supermarkets, pubs and restaurants very close by, as well as a nice park and art gallery. After a nice 15 min walk you arrive at the city center. There is also an excellent tram and bus connection to the center and train station.

By car:
Zebrastraat is very well located, close to the entrance and exit of both the motorway Brussels-Ostend (E40) and the motorway Antwerp-Kortrijk (E17).
Parking:
- you can park your car in the street or under the bridge also called the fly-over in the Gustaaf Callierlaan
- max 5 hours for 1,8 euro/hour
- free on Sunday and holidays
If you stay for a longer time I can recommend you the parkingtower in Ledeberg (Hundelgemsesteenweg 91, 9050 Gent). It’s only 10 min walk to the apartment. It’s 12 euro/day.
Be careful for the sign ‘Bewoners’ in front of the house, this is a parking space for residents only (fine 80 €!).
By public transportation:
Our apartment is easily accessible by public transportation. The “Gent Sint-Pieters” train station is just 2 kilometres away, while the city centre (Korenmarkt) is 2,2 kilometres away.
The nearest bus stop is “Gent Leeuwstraat”, which is an 8 up to 10 minutes drive to/from the train station “Gent Sint-Pieters”. You should take one of the following buses: 58, 70, 71, 72, 76, 77 or 78.
