Wow! This place exceeded our expectations. The location is better than the photos. The very-well-appointed tiny house is located just above a very picturesque river on a lovely farm, with a beautiful view of the forested ranges nearby. We loved sitting on the deck in the comfy chairs in the sunshine, reading, and watching the birdlife... there were HEAPS of piwakawaka, pūtangitangi, kōtare, and magpies, and ruru calling at night. We really enjoyed the woodfired outdoor bath! The wifi was extremely good, which was an unexpected bonus... and it was great that there was no cellphone coverage! There was plenty of firewood for both the bath and the small but very effective indoor fire. It was easy to chop up more for kindling using the axe. It's hard to fault this place! Even the drive across the farm in the provided old 4WD was fun! We will recommend this place to our friends, and we hope to return ourselves, soon. We hope to come for a little longer, as it would be great for writing

A magical time away. So peaceful and relaxing being off the grid. Kids loved the loft room and choccies for Easter. A fun walk exploring the paddock and the stream. And the outdoor bath under that night sky was amazing. Wished we’d stay longer and we’ll be back. Thank you!

An amazing and unforgettable experience from the get go. The outdoor wood fire bathtub was an amazing experience! Beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked up. Hosts Emily and Andrew were very responsive to our queries which was really helpful. The family enjoyed the home so much that we didn’t want to leave! Wished we could have stayed for a longer time.
