The delightful Kawhia seaside township is 35 minutes away with Kawhia Hot Water Beach one of the most remarkable places in the world to soak up wellness. Numerous fishing charter boats leave from the Kawhia jetty but prior bookings are required. If bushwalking sightseeing caving or rafting is your adventure, Marokopa Falls and the free Piripiri Cave walk is a 30 minute drive. The world famous Waitomo glow caves and black water rafting is 50 minutes away. Closer to home there's fishing off Waiharakeke Bridge and a boat ramp only 1km away. A second local boat ramp is at Te Waitere a 10km drive. Feel free to use the fish filleting station at Soul.
