Lake Williams is an amazing sanctuary. Wayne's cabin is secluded with stunner views morning ,noon and night. What gorgeous landscaping & flowers around the entire property. We had a great time the minute we arrived. ....A total place to unwind. This comfortable cozy cabin adorns beautiful woodwork and modern lighting. I slept like a " baby "..the master bedroom has an excellent mattress too...You hear these wonderful sounds of the wind ,nature & birds all around you... the cabin has a warm cozy vibe... I would return in a heartbeat...it's magical...Wayne and Lauri get 5 big stars...they are wonderful hosts.... I would totally return in the fall just to see the foliage !!...this is an absolute gem in Connecticut !!...Go.. check it out for yourself..... KUDOS here. !!!

The place is absolutely quiet and peaceful. Boat traffic on the lake is minimal in this area. The boathouse is a great place to hangout and read, or nap, or watch a movie. Best chill time I’ve had for awhile. As previously noted, Wayne is a very conscientious and responsive individual. Highly recommend this place.

What can I say this place is awesome. The lake and the yard were fabulous. Our 4 year old and dog loved the room and were able to run around to their hearts content. The lake is beautiful with minimal motor boat traffic. The water front is swimmable with a mostly Sandy/pebbly bottom. The boat house shed/second living space had commanding views and the breeze kept it cool enough. The house itself is on a quiet road that was perfect for walks. Everything was clean and neat. Only minor detractor was the hot water was virtually nonexistent. Bottom line we would comeback and stay here again and wholeheartedly recommend.
