1. There was no local number for security. we had an incident where someone followed us to the top floor, saw where we were staying and then went down the stairs. later that evening, someone was banging on our door repeatedly. I reached out to the host, and they tried security, and no one answered. I felt very unsafe. I would recommend providing the local security number at check in. 2. The 2 beds were the LOUDEST beds I've ever heard in my life...very uncomfortable, and the headboards were rusty. 3. The dishes were not clean and I wouldn't dare use the coffee maker. 4. on one of the beds, the bed linens were torn, a picture was off the wall. 5. At check in, the door code did not work in the garage. only the white badge worked. and I had to call to get that info as it was not provided in the check in email. 6. The best thing about it was the view of the water and the prompt communication. It needs some attention to detail.

Overall everything we needed. Wasn’t as cleaned as expected due to all the rules listed. But after a couple minutes of cleaning up- everything was great. Response back to questions was quick and reasonable- needed an additional wrist band for the pool and a blanket for the pull out couch -requested it at 10 pm when we checked in and got it the morning after!

The resort was fabulous! The main areas were very clean. Great number of pools and jacuzzies. Two great restaurants. Everyone on staff was so friendly and accommodating. It was an amazing place to stay. RE: Penthouse: It was not what we expected. It certainly didn't have separate rooms. The unit was one, long narrow unit. Two people had trouble passing each other down the main (only) hallway. When you first walked in, the you were actually standing in the bedroom. It did have a door between the bedroom and kitchen. The kitchen and bathroom area was open to each other. Then, you walked into the living room and then to the balcony. The balcony had an amazing view of the ocean. There were several issues that I did leave with the host that didn't need fixing while we were there, but I did point out several things that needed to be taken care of.

The email right at 4 during check in was entirely too much. I would’ve preferred to have it 24 hours before check in. Just so that the I could’ve read over vital information. The location of the condo was confusing. What the email didn’t state was that you have to take the 2nd elevator not the 1st. I spent 30 min trying to find the room. The front desk was not very helpful. Finally I got ahold of a security guard who was extremely helpful and even gave me a tour of the resort. Other than this, everything else was good. No other complaints.
