What a little gem of a place! We were looking for a retreat-like getaway for our family, and this was one of the best vacation houses we’ve been to. The house was spotless and clean and every detail was thought through. We loved the swing and other comfy seating options, and the hot tub and backyard creek were delightful. The kids thought this would be a fun place to get “snowed in”!

This was, without question, my best experience with an airbnb. The renovated barn is GORGEOUS (maybe even more beautiful than the pictures!) and it's clear that Franklin and his wife put a lot of care and thought into the decorating and also the amenities. The place was stocked with quality coffee and tea, honey, great cooking pans, etc. Franklin was extremely friendly from the moment I booked and gave recommendations for local coffee and hiking (just a mile down the road is the canal towpath, which was great!). Franklin also went above and beyond in helping us make sure we had filtered water --- we noticed the "change filter" light was on on the fridge, and he came to replace it the first night! We had a truly relaxing time enjoying the beautiful home, walking to the canal, enjoying the hot tub, and working on our books (my partner and I are writers). It was just wonderful and I know I'll be back again!

I booked this instead of a hotel so I would have a place to hang out with my friends while I was in the area, and it was perfect. There was plenty of space and it was well stocked, lots of comfortable furniture. I hope to go back someday, thank you!
