The house was new and clean. Paul and his wife were prompt with responding to messages before my stay. However, it was not lake front or really even much of a view. It also was not easy to get down to the beach as the pictures show. Most of the windows didn’t have blinds and there were not outlet covers or some of the amenities listed to make it kid friendly.

Paul & Kristina were such wonderful hosts, helpful with quick responses. Their house felt so welcoming and homey and clean! We have a 10 yr old, 3 yr old and 1 yr old and everyone enjoyed the house, &amenities. The fridge was stocked, the beds were luxuriously comfortable (slept better than I do at home), the bathrooms felt so clean and new. It was definitely a feeling of comfort and luxury. We enjoyed a nice sunset view and fire on the outside deck and felt at peace since the kids couldn’t run off, they played with their toys and snacked on the deck. The walk to the beach was beautiful, and the beach itself felt like a private beach resort, no one was around the 3 times we walked down to the beach. It was breathtaking and peaceful. I would 10/10 recommend!! Paul & Kristina have a Gem of a Home, and they were the best hosts we’ve ever had.

Very comfortable house with lovely rooms and plenty of space. The 125 steps down to the beach were worth it for the beauty of Lake Michigan. Outside firepit was a cozy way to wind down the day. Recommended!

Truly the best Lake Michigan vacation home you will find!! We stayed at the house for a week with our family of four (1 year old and 3 year old) and another family of four (4 year old and 2 year old). We had PLENTY of space. Each of the bedrooms upstairs had a private bathroom (with two additional common area bathrooms)- which is so convenient when traveling with two families. The house was beautiful and the beach was perfect. We didn’t feel like we had to do a lot of day trips to keep the kids busy with the beach so conveniently located. We were able to manage the stairs fine with our kids. There is a full kitchen so we were able to do a grocery run for the week and cook almost all of our meals at home. The hosts did leave a lot of local recommendations if you enjoy eating out instead. This house is absolutely stunning and so beautifully decorated. The house feels like home rather than a rental property! Don’t hesitate to book! Our kids already want to go back to the “green house.”
