This was a longer term stay, and fit the bill nicely. Manan was a very pleasant host. The place was clean and in a quiet neighbourhood. It is close to the water, so in the warmer weather I could definitely see checking out the waterfront. It is close to the GO train station as well.

I was very pleased with my stay. The Kitchen has everything you need to either cook your own meals or reheat / eat take out. Including a well-stocked coffee maker with both regular and decaf coffee & coffee mate. And enough room to store food in the 2 mini fridges. The only thing I would recommend to add, is a small dining table /chairs to sit and eat your meals, since the kitchen counter is very high and the stools are too short. So that area is not usable. This way you don’t have to eat at the desk in the room. The room I had was nice (Cozy corner) was clean and comfortable. There is a dresser to store your clothes but only if folded. You can hang a few items (winter coat, dress jacket) at a rack behind the door. The bathroom is very clean and everything is well organized. They have very clear instructions for everything and I appreciated that. Great location, close to restaurants and the waterfront. All in all this is a great place to stay in Barrie!
