The Shack on the Hack is anything but a shack. We loved the quiet location, the porches, and the wonderfully appointed home. Anthony thoughtfully provided everything to make our stay enjoyable. We can’t wait to come back.

Exactly as listed - we immediately felt at home and comfortable throughout our entire stay. We especially loved all of the farmhouse decor and watching the cows in the pasture while drinking coffee in the morning, so peaceful. We would recommend to anyone staying in the Cookeville area but not wanting to be directly in the city as navigating to the city and different waterfalls from the Airbnb was extremely easy.

This is our second visit. The cottage is amazing and so peaceful and comfortable. Home has everything you would need. Anthony is great and even checked on us during a recent storm to make sure we were ok. The Flatt family is amazing and born and raised in the area so are a great resource for recommendations. We will most definitely be back in the near future.

The Shack on The Hack was one of the best Air BNB experiences I have had over the years. Anthony was ultra responsive to my inquiries and his place had everything we needed. We will be back.

My mom and I had a wonderful trip! Anthony's place is very clean and well appointed. He is extremely helpful and friendly, and always available if you need anything. The view from both the front and back porch is beautiful and peaceful. Would not hesitate to stay here again if in the area!
