Nestled in the beautiful, tranquil countryside of the Helford area in Cornwall, Bosawsack Mill House is a unique, cosy, renovated house within a working farm. At the moment, we offer a minimum 5-day stay but are welcome to enquiries for shorter stays. The house is best suited for a single family or up to four people. The Bosawsack farm dates at least 500 years with the neighbouring farm house still retaining some of its original walls. Known as an "upside down house," the mill house bedrooms are downstairs while the kitchen, dining and living area are upstairs with peaceful views over the farm. Kitchen is fully equipped, facing a living and dining area that is of a spacious open layout. There are two bedrooms and one full bathroom downstairs: one with a double bed that opens up to the patio and the second bedroom with two zip and link single beds which can be made into a king size upon request. If traveling with young children, travel cot, high chair, children cutlery and books/toys can be made available. Outside, there is a large fenced garden to enjoy a picnic under a mallis apple tree. There is a footpath at the back connecting to a larger meadow to take in the idyllic countryside. We are rural but are no more than a 15 minute drive away from Falmouth town and local villages like Mawnan Smith and Constantine. Both villages are picturesque Cornish villages with their own historic pubs and chapels.

A really lovely place! So peaceful, relaxing and private. It is lovely and warm, being able to control the temperature in each room is a great idea. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need and the sofas are cozy. The beds and linen are so comfortable we miss them already! Great local area and not that far out of town away from the supermarkets etc. I would recommend to anyone!
Rebecca's place was nice, the beds were extremely comfortable, the heating was incredible so it was warm and cosy on freezing cold wet winter nights. Rebecca was really friendly and lovely.
I had a prolonged stay here and really felt at home throughout my visit. The whole house was nicely designed and modern. The location is peaceful and very secluded with only two neighbours on the premises. Any issues I had were quickly sorted and there was always very friendly communication. There is also a really nice farm shop with local produce about 3 minutes by car, which came in handy! I would highly recommend staying here if you want ample parking and a tranquil setting with a large secluded garden!
We had a lovely mini break here. The Millhouse was perfect for us. Quiet, very comfortable, everything we needed. We particularly liked having a sofa each to relax in. It was very near Falmouth and Penryn, but also an excellent base for coastal walks. The books with suggested walks were a nice touch and very useful.

Bosawsack Mill House is on a working farm cul de sac with three other residences: two in a once-piggery and a farmhouse next door. It is a quiet neighbourhood though there are sometimes occasional tractors coming in and out fields near the house.
Getting around in car is your best option however, there is a bus line connecting Falmouth to Helston via Mawnan Smith on the main road outside. Cyclists who are experts at navigating rural countryside roads can also cycle.
