Whale's Tail was wonderful! The house was comfortable and clean and the location was lovely. Mark was highly responsive and the house met our expectations and exceeded them in terms of the amenities listed. The kitchen was well appointed and the rooms were comfortable. Mark was available for questions throughout the stay and when the washer unexpectedly broke during our visit he responded immediately and assisted us in solving the problem to our satisfaction. Unlike some homes which state that they sleep a high number of people but then don't have matching living space, this home had ample seating in the dining/kitchen/and living room area. It was a delight to stay!

We had such a wonderful stay. The place is absolutely perfect for a family vacation. Mark was very friendly and answered every message clearly and promptly. The beach was beautiful and we really appreciated how kid-friendly and safe the house and surroundings were. They even left us some baby gear and toys for our 2 year old. The place was spotless and they left so much space for us to put all of our stuff away. I would definitely recommend staying here. Thanks again!

We had a wonderful stay at the Whale's Tail. All four bedrooms were roomy enough for our group of 6. It was great to have closets and a chest of drawers in each room. Kitchen supplies were well organized, there is some cupboard and drawer space to keep your groceries. Furniture is comfortable. Bathrooms are clean and well laid out. Views from the deck are lovely. The beach access is a short walk away, and it is nice they have a ramp instead of the steep stairs you usually see. The tide pools are teeming with sea creatures, and lots of fun to explore. The area is gorgeous. You could walk to Victoria during low tide within about half an hour. Mark was a great host. Gave clear directions to the cottage, and responded promptly. Awesome experience overall!
