Karen is a sweetheart. She is a lovely person and is great at communication. We loved her home - it had three porches and we sat out and coffee on each one. She does a great job with her lawn and it is such a great spot to bring kids. This town was pretty central to everything. Thank you Karen - you are wonderful! We enjoyed our stay and will contact you next year for another trip :)

Well maintained and clean property in rural peaceful setting. Renovated large farmhouse with hardwood floors and modern kitchen-dining area. Situated 20 min. from Confederation Bridge and 30 from North Shore beaches, bike trails, and Green Gables, 5 from Victoria Harbour, 12 from Argyll Shore provincial Park. Premises large enough to accommodate our multigenerational family of 8 in 4 bedrooms plus an additional futon in a downstairs parlour and 2 bathrooms (one on on each level) useful for older folk with mobility problems. A strip of white tape between family room and hallway and TV room would be helpful to prevent tripping over the slight rise in floor height.

Karen's place is perfect for a home base to explore the island. Very private rural setting with everything you need. Comfy beds. Close to confederation bridge. Karen herself is truly lovely and incredibly personable. Very thorough introduction to her home, but not intrusive whatsoever. Very close to Victoria, a must see.

Karen’s home and surrounding property is a beautiful, private retreat from city life .The house was spacious , clean , with lots of character and Victorian charm .It was a place we could hang out to relax , and reconnect with family . It had the beauty and simplicity of farmhouse vibes with modern comforts and amenities . We did a lot of driving in diff directions to tourist attractions , so you have to appreciate the scenic driving , and loved coming home to this easy serene space .Wish we could have explored more of south shore , next time 😏

Lovely home , with “Anne of green gables” vibes . Lots of outdoor space to enjoy the views of Prince Edward Island . Karen was lovely to guide us around the area. Very much recommended! Thank you Karen .
