We spent a lovely 10 days in March -April 2023 in "The Lighthouse". It's the top floor of a 3 storey building. With a wraparound balcony (well, on two sides at least), the views are breath taking over the beach and the Belice nature reserve. The location is a 10 minute walk down a rocky path to the beach. And what a beach. Absolutely lovely. More reviews of the beach online. I don't know how crowded it would be in the Summer though. It would be possible to walk into town and even to the Selinunte ruins. We didn't - is would be through the residential area. Marinella, the town itself, was a lovely quiet place which was very quiet in the off season. I suspect that the atmosphere is very different in season. As for Salvo, he could not have been more accommodating - he met us even though our flight was delayed and arrived at 2am! The flat was simple but functional (as we've found many places in Sicily are). 2 bedrooms. Outside area for BBQs. Recommended.

Wir waren in dem Appartment im 1. Stock Ende Aug./Anfang Sept. Es ist nicht modern aber funktional und gut ausgestattet mit einem sehr großen umlaufenden Balkon mit fantastischem Meerblick. Alles sehr sauber, Außenanlage toll bepflanzt, Salvatore hat definitiv einen grünen Daumen! Abends gibt es ein paar Mücken, mit Autan/Räucherspirale ist der Balkon aber sehr gut nutzbar. Da es an allen Schlafräumen Mückengitter gibt, kein Problem mit Mücken in der Wohnung. Klimaanlage in allen Schlafräumen + Bad funktionieren super, nicht viel benötigt, da Wohnung sehr gut querzulüften. Der schöne Strand (feiner Sand, keine Algen) ist in 10 min gut zu erreichen. Kommunikation gut und schnell, Englisch ausreichend, persönliche ausführliche Übergabe. Einziges Problem bei unserem Aufenthalt: Waschmaschine hat Flecken auf Kleidung verursacht (Bleicherückstände?). Etwas störend: Animation von zwei benachbarten Ressorts hörbar. Insgesamt Appartment aber absolut zu empfehlen und mit gutem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.
