I had a pleasant stay at this Airbnb located in an ideal area of Tulum, close to numerous dining options, convenience stores, and centrally positioned between downtown and the beach. While the property is still under construction, visible construction was present but did not disrupt our stay significantly. However, I encountered issues with the concierge service. Sofia, the concierge, had a misunderstanding with us regarding the arrival airport. Initially, she acknowledged the error on both sides and agreed to a partial refund, but reversed her stance the next day, instructing me to refer to their policy—a document I was never given nor was it mentioned upon booking. I recommend handling your own bookings for excursions and travel arrangements to avoid unnecessary stress and save both time and money.
Great property, responsive host. Like other reviews have mentioned, the pool can get dirty once in a while and getting it cleaned during a packed busy trip can be a little difficult. The host however will do all they can to accommodate. I purchased a package for my wife's birthday that involved decorating the place with rose petals, and it was top notch. However cleaning the petals out during our stay was negotiated when booked but was not followed through. Also had to deal with loss of power for about 10 hours on a hot night, but I believe everyone else in the area lost power as well. I wish a backup inverter was available to use, especially if they anticipate power issues.
This was a perfect place to stay for a few day in tulum. I had a private dip pool, Jacuzzi in my private rooftop. It was a great price, and Host was very accommodating Will definitely use them again 🙏🏼
My girlfriend and I were looking for a place to spend my 29th Birthday. Originally we were going to do a resort in cancun but all the nice resorts were over 1K a night. So we decided to try tulúm. When I tell you guys…. TULUM OWES ME NOTHING. This entire trip was amazing but what really made our trip was our stay at Xalet. The entire property is beautiful, From the arrival to the apartment. Extremely clean, quiet and relaxing. Once booked the team will reach out to you help you book dinners, excursions, drivers etc. I felt as if I was at a resort but had access to so much more. We will be back and will book again. Thank you so much to Sophia and Enric for helping make this trip amazing. Thank you Ruben at the front desk as well.
This is probably one of my favorite spaces I’ve stayed in! It’s absolutely beautiful and in the perfect location. There’s a supermarket nearby and a few restaurants in walking distance. Jesus was friendly and very responsive. And our concierges Enric and Sofia did a wonderful job making my birthday amazing. I especially loved the private rooftop pool and the cenote lounge area. The apartment is very well decorated and looks exactly like the photos. I would definitely recommend this space to anyone searching! I will surely be back again. Soon. Thanks so much for everything!
