The location was great for exploring the Maine coast from Kittery to Portland, rarely being over a half hour from anywhere I wanted to go. When checking in, we were given the key to a room we had not booked and had no option but to stay there for our stay as someone had been staying in the room we booked for several months. The room was still high-quality, so it was no issue for me. Trash had been left in the room and the room's refrigerator, and I doubt the claims that there is a cleaning service. That said, the room and property were well maintained and not gross, just not cleaned recently. The owner was responsive to any requests for assistance or clarification. The only other thing to note is that the walls are rather thin, and you will hear people walking around the house if you sleep in. While most of what I listed were complaints, our stay was still nice and we did like the location, I just wish it was cleaned and the booking was conducted properly.

Great place. Very nice people. It was a great quiet location. Close to Kennebunkport and 25 minutes to Portland
