Disappointed. Our first night in Ireland since 1992 and no warm Irish welcome. Sadly at this cottage you are at the mercy of whoever is booked into the adjoining 2 properties- in our case they were very noisy and due to the shared garden and amenities (and their proximity) we felt like we were sharing our place with them. On a positive it would be a good place to rent all 3 properties for friends/family, but way too close to present as a nice getaway for a couple. Make sure you bring everything with you as there is no tea, coffee, milk or anything else provided - apparently because of COVID. If you want a hot shower with pressure you need to try and work out how to log on to the online instructions (not an easy task and nothing printed out for you or sent in advance) and study in depth - try not to get distracted by the warnings about meter reading and extra changes for switching on heaters. And don’t make the mistake of putting your lovely bottles of wine in the little bar fridge which is apparently a freezer, so they explode in the night. Checked out early and was grateful to receive a refund of the difference without question.

Strongly recommended. Lovely quiet location with good pubs and restaurants close by. Ideal base for exploring. Excellent host.

The Granary Cottage is a lovely place to stay if you are in the area. It is perfect for 2 and is so incredible. It has all the amenities you would possibly need, is absolutely charming, and Niall is a superb host. You will get the full experience of being in the Irish countryside.

Niall is a great host. We spent a weekend in the cottage and it was lovely. Clean, warm and cozy. He kindly allowed us to check in early, and went the extra mile to return an item which we left behind us. I would recommend a stay, very nice cottage.
