皇后区 · 整套出租单元 · 0室1床1.0卫 · 可住2人 · Renovated floor in home with separate entrance
We offer an upscale experience in a ground floor studio with its own entrance. Queen bed, dedicated workspace, and small twin pull-out sleeper provided. It is cozy but well renovated with AC and Heat. Fully equipped studio with well stocked kitchen, burners but no oven or dishwasher. There is also access to laundry which you share with owners (we will hammer out schedule together!) and a parking spot big enough to fit a small SUV is available for $175/mo No smoking, pets or parties! This is a nicely sized studio great for 1 or 2 people. There is a queen bed, a twin pullout sleeper that replaced the previous red armchairs and a desk. A huge closet with a tallboy dresser and lots of hangers so you can have plenty of wardrobe options for your stay. There is a full size refrigerator, a 2 burner induction stove (no oven), a small microwave, a personal sized blender/smoothie maker, individual sized rice cooker, Keurig and toaster. Our kitchen comes pretty well equipped with all the utensils, bowls, plates and cups you could ever need and plenty of storage for your pantry items. No dishwasher unfortunately. The smart TV has roku/netflix for you to sign in to your own account. Working from home has never been more reliable with Verizon Fios and it's a fairly quiet neighborhood with great access to subways (7, M/R) and the LIRR.
We (my partner and I) stayed in Jennifer's Airbnb for 8 months and had a perfect stay. The studio is exactly like the pictures and has all the facilities you need for your stay, whether it's for a month or much longer. Besides a very useful kitchen and great bathroom, we could also make use of the laundry equipment, which is a luxury in New York! Jennifer is an amazing host and is always there if you need her. She made our stay very pleasant, kept us updated on developments in the city, and gave us tips on what to do and where to eat in the neighborhood. She is a perfect host! The area is also great and relatively calm by New York standards. Still, there is plenty to do in terms of activities and food/drinks. However, we most often took the metro to Manhattan. The nearest subway station is approximately a 5-8 min walk and a total of roughly 30-40 min to midtown Manhattan. We very much recommend staying here!
Jen and Marcel were great hosts. Place was awesome and conveniently located in Queens near the M/R subway. Would highly recommend
I stayed at Jennifer’s place for almost two months between apartments. It was the perfect spot for me. She was always available for any help I needed but she mostly left me in peace to come and go at my own hours. I’ve lived one neighborhood over for 20 years and this is a nice quiet block close to all the fabulous restaurants of Jackson Heights and Sunnyside. Very close walk to a wonderful organic grocery and train into the city. The fee was less than anything else in the area. Even though it was a ground floor space, it was quiet and everything was so thoughtfully laid out. I felt a lot of peace and joy staying there and would recommend it especially for a quick stay.
I had such a wonderful stay in Jennifer's studio! The place came with the essentials I needed for a month-long stay and is removed from busy city life. Jennifer is incredibly knowledgable about New York, she gave me advice on where to eat, get groceries, commuting to the city, etc.. You will need to walk about 10mins to get to the subway station, but you will have the option to either take the LIRR (straight shot to Penn station) or the local train (takes longer). Jennifer was also very generous and provided me with anything I needed. I would definitely come back again.
Woodside has some of Queens' best food, and has some of the most reknowned Thai food (Sripraphai, 3 Thai Aunties), Filipino food (Jollibee, Dollar Hits), for Japanese Matsuri is a crowd pleaser, and great ramen can be found at 3 bowls Ramen near the 7 train or one at Izakayu Fuku for something very authentic and fun. Long time Irish pubs Donovan, Sean Og and fun bars such as Beerkeeper and Solid State are within a 15 min walk. A variety of American and ethnic grocery stores can be found around the 61st street LIRR station.
We are located in Woodside equidistant from the 61st street 7 train station and the Northern Boulevard M/R station. Both are about a 7 minute walk, and there is also a bus to the 7 train station if you prefer or are carrying heavy items. This area is reknowned for its excellent food choices, especially Thai food! The LIRR is also located at the 61st street station should you need to get to Long Island. The airport is close by with a free shuttle bus to LGA within walking distance as well.
I'm happy to sit down with you at the start of your stay (or anytime really!) to plot out your time here and the best ways of getting you around.
Currently we do have a small parking space that we can rent out if you want to bring your car. It will not fit anything very large, but a regular car should be fine.
