Really enjoyed spending 5 nights over Xmas with the family here. House was immaculate, stylish and very comfortable for our family of 5. Sociable kitchen - which my wife enjoyed watching me cook whilst sipping on Prosecco! Everything we needed was provided for - wanted for nothing (incl. loads of towels, spare bedding, Bluetooth speakers, smart tvs, wood for the burners and all kitchen stuff). Wood burner got a lot of use after our longs walks - plenty of options from the front door, including 15 mins to Ironbridge (lovely). Surrounded by lovely pubs - literally in every direction withing 10-15 mins walk. Ellie was fantastic to deal with and we would certainly stay again.

A beautiful cottage with great amenities just as described. Lovely location with a view of the river and in walking distance of Ironbridge. Also convenient for all the Ironbridge Gorge Museums. Perfect for us as a family of 4. We would stay again!

This is such a lovely house, very well equipped and with good beds and linen. The location is fantastic, with so much to do in the immediate locality. Ellie was a great host, responding to a couple of queries very quickly. And helping out with a car problem I had. I definitely recommend a stay at Ellie’s.

Ellie’s Engineers Cottage has been beautifully restored and decorated to a very high standard. For us it was well positioned allowing us to walk along the cycle path at the rear of the property to the iconic Ironbridge and its lovely village in one direction and The Jackfield Tile Museum in the opposite direction both of which were circa 1km away, along with several good pubs. Blists Hill Victorian village, which is well worth a visit, is a very short drive away. Bridgenorth, Shrewsbury, Church Stratton and Long Mynd are slightly further but also well worth a visit. Ellie’s instructions on where to locate and how to enter the property were very clear. We had two minor issues on the first evening which Ellie and her husband Ryan were super quick to resolve. They were both very friendly and keen for us to have the best possible stay. We highly recommend this property and would stay again should we visit the area - if it’s available!
