Sarah's place was amazing! I rented it for my family to stay in for my wedding weekend and they were blown away with how nice it was. They enjoyed being right by the water and couldn't stop talking about how much they loved it. Sarah was amazing and so responsive. I even extended the stay a few times and she was quick to respond and couldn't have been more accommodating to the changes. Thank you so much Sarah, it was so great to have my family stay in a beautiful home which made my wedding weekend more enjoyable for them and less stressful for me !

House is as pictured. Very comfortable and clean. Nice yard with beautiful view. Lobster cooker is great!! Would definitely go back again.

We had an amazing time. The home was exactly as described and perfect for a Family get away. We didn't know how to work the radio and Sarah reached out right away and made sure we understood the direction. The oven was tricky but the house book gave us the troubleshooting we needed to get it going. Really just being new to gas is why we had an issue. I recommend this home to anyone! It's wonderful.

We used Sarah's place while we were spending a belated Thanksgiving with family in Harpswell. The size was perfect for our family of 6 (with 3 teenagers and an adult daughter) and the location was perfect, including a lovely view of the water, but there were issues. Upon arriving, the code for the front door wouldn't work after several attempts. After calling Sarah, we were able to get into the back door instead. Upon entering, the house was freezing as the temperature had been set to 55! We promptly went to gas fireplace to try to get it started so we could keep warm while the temperature came up to be comfortable, only to learn that we couldn't. When I called Sarah a second time, I was informed that the fireplace was broken, and that her husband tried to fix it earlier in the week but couldn't. It would have been nice to have known that before hand since the fire place was one of the draws for this property. Also, since they were there just a few days before our arrival, it would have been nice if they hadn't set the thermostat above 55 so we wouldn't be freezing when we arrived. Since they have radiant heat, it took quite some time (several hours) for the temperature to come up to a reasonable comfort level. It still had not come up to a comfortable level by the time we went to bed. Fortunately, there were plenty of blankets, which was good since we all had to wrap ourselves in them to stay warm. Still, the size and kitchen amenities for the place were accurately described, and since we were there for a family gathering, including cooking, that was important. In attempting to cook, however, we found that it was very difficult to work the oven. After quite some time, we decided we must need to relight the pilot, and removed the bottom cover to do so. That ended up working to start the oven. After roasting vegetables and removing them from the oven in order to bake rolls, we learned that the oven had mysteriously just shut off (though it was still set to the same temperature it had been set previously). It took us a while to figure out it had just shut off on its own since it still had some of the heat from the prior bake. Apparently, opening the oven door can make it shut off. We then had to take out of the oven the rolls we put in and remove the bottom cover of the oven in order to start the oven again. Annoying, to say the least. The next day, we all wanted to watch a little tv as a family, only to find that there were no instructions for the tv or cable, and that it wouldn't work. We had no sound and it seemed glitchy. We could only get the tv lisitng guide to come up occasionally but mostly just...
