This home was in a beautiful location. It was on a peninsula that was connected only by a small piece of road. So it was surrounded on 3 sides by a beautiful piece lake. The tall trees made a canopy that surrounded the house as though you were in a tree house. Absolutely gorgeous! I don't want to say too much as I am hoping to book again and would love there to be an available spot next summer. The decor was lovely and the house was well stocked with anything you might need. Highly recommended!

The house is beautiful and in a spectacular and peaceful location, with stunning views of the lake and forest. The main living and dining area is wonderful with an adequately fitted kitchen. All in all, the place is very good value for money and incredibly relaxing. Robin was exceptionally helpful, communicating well ahead of our stay. We'd recommend this place to anyone wishing to unwind.

Robin's place had absolutely breathtaking views! The wild life that could be seen from the cottage was amazing, we saw otters, an eagle, a piliated woodpecker, a grouse, and so many other types of birds, we were constantly entertained by the scenery and the wildlife. The vaulted ceilings and large windows framed the stunning views perfectly. We were able to kayak, canoe and swim off the dock. We explored the area attractions and the changing fall colours. Inside the cottage was clean and comfortable and had almost everything we needed, with the exception of tools for the fireplace. The lower level of the cottage was a bit disappointing as it had a damp musty smell, luckily the loft area made up for the shortcoming and was comfortable and again had amazing views. I would definitely recommend Robin's cottage for small groups. I can't wait to go back!

The cabin and location are just beautiful. The views are gorgeous, from sunrise to sunset. Surrounded by the lake and forest, we got to see a lot of wildlife - from the common chipmunks and songbirds, to loons, turtles, woodpeckers, beaver, and even the rare bald eagles and endangered grey ratsnake - do not worry, the snake is not dangerous. We enjoyed kayaking and swimming in the lake, and got stunning views of the lake from above at Rock Dunder Nature Reserve's hike - highly recommended. The highlights of the cabin itself are the floor to ceiling glass-doors and windows, the well setup kitchen with all the appliances you may need, and the large fireplace. It was a special stay!

Great vacation spot, beautiful views and quite private from the neighbours. We arrived in the area earlier than the scheduled check in, the cottage was ready so our host let us know we could check in early which was fantastic! The cottage itself was spacious, had a variety of kitchen-ware, large lovely deck. We honestly couldn't have asked for more, especially considering the price. We would definitely rent again.
