What a truly beautiful part of the world! The house is very quiet, very well equipped, comfortable and has wonderful views in every direction! We were made to feel incredibly welcome on this working farm in spite of arriving in the middle of lambing! The whole family was very happy here…so much for everyone to do both outdoors or in the wonderfully warm, log fired rooms! Can’t wait to come back!

Honestly such a lovely place to spend together as a family celebrating a big birthday. Amazing location, good room options and a very very well stocked kitchen in terms of cooking stuff (though it did take us a long time to work out how to use the can opener!). Would thoroughly recommend

We had the best family stay at this amazing house. The house was warm, comfortable and well equipped with everything you need including a generous supply of firewood. The views from every window were beautiful. There were 12 of us including 3 children and there was plenty of room for everyone to relax, eat and play. It was very child friendly with baby gates, cots and high chairs already there. The shepherd and his family, that live in the cottage behind, were really friendly and let the kids watch lambs being born and feed the lambs which was an amazing experience.

This is the 2nd time we have stayed in this beautiful house in its stunning location. We all had a ball, thank you for allowing us to stay and hope to come back again in future.

We stayed here for a family Christmas and it was just magical, the property was something out of a movie, the area so beautiful, so peaceful! The house was authentic farm style, lovely furnishings, everything you need including a fresh Christmas tree & decorations for the kids. We would definitely recommend a stay here if your looking for a country getaway, the walks, Loch’s & waterfall nearby are just a treat along with the two ponies! The host was very helpful and communication was great! We hope to come back again one day!
