Nestled in the trees in a private bay overlooking Lake Atitlan and its volcanoes is our artfully designed modern villa. Cozy and comfortable with plenty of spaces to take in all the spectacular views. Make yourself at home in our cozy villa located in one of most quiet towns around the lake. The property is accessible by both lake and road - this means you can arrive by car or by boat. The road is very rough, so it is advisable to travel to Panajachel and arrive at the property by boat. Alternatively, you can arrive in Tzununa and take a tuc tuc to the house. We have a caretaker who lives in a separate house on the property and is available to help guests as needed. The house is perched on a hillside with great views of the lake. We have a full-house UV water filtration system - that means even the water in the shower is purified. Please be aware that there are quite a few stairs to climb when you are arriving at the house. It is best for guests who do not have mobility issues and are comfortable with being active.

The home itself is beautiful. Gorgeous porch area to hangout on. The onsight hosts Byron and Pascual are super helpful and very kind. I cannot thank them enough. Be prepared for a lot of stairs!! Including in the home, bathroom is downstairs, bottom floor and the stairs down are very odd, I struggled with them having to go to the bathroom from the top floor room at 3am. We had some issues with the hot water that were frustrating, host did their best to help but we never figured it out (hot water lasted 2 minutes at most). Maybe user error? But something to pay attention to. Sarah sent a lovely multiple page document with lots of info about how to get there, food options, etc that was very helpful. Recommend grocery shopping and bringing food to the Airbnb, as getting out for every meal was hard. We knew it was a bit outside of town which was nice for 2 nights. It’s about 100Q each way for Tuktuks, we never found anyone willing to do it for less.

Upon arrival, serenity embraced us, with the sparkling lake waters and majestic volcanoes in the distance. Undoubtedly, the highlight was the stunning view from the property overlooking the lake and towering volcanoes. Each morning, sipping coffee, we marveled at this spectacle, feeling worries melt away. While undeniably idyllic, proximity to nature brought its quirks. We encountered bugs, including occasional spiders or scorpions. Yet, groundskeeper Pascual swiftly addressed concerns, ensuring a comfortable stay. Despite critter encounters, we were enchanted by the peaceful ambiance. Whether lounging on the terrace, exploring villages, or soaking in views, every moment felt like a blissful escape. For a serene sanctuary to unwind and reconnect with nature, this charming property is unmatched.
Wonderful place!
Just incredible. The pictures don’t do this place justice! Super comfy beds, amazing outdoor shower, and views beyond belief. It was very easy to hail a public taxi boat from the private dock and get dropped off by boat or Tuk Tuk. The very responsive local caretaker made checkin, getting around, and recommendations easy. Enjoy this haven!
