Zane’s place was perfect for birding High Island and the surrounding areas. It is right on the beach about 10 minutes from Smith Oaks and Boy Scout Woods. It is only 20 minutes from the Bolivar shorebird sanctuary, but there were numerous shorebirds right outside. The house is clean, cozy, and perfect for relaxing after a long day outside. The fenced yard makes Zane’s place feel even more private and is great if you have a dog. Everything was exactly as described. Zane was very proactive and helpful. I highly recommend staying here.

The place was right on the beach - walk out the back door and onto the beach. Zane was an outstanding host - extremely responsive, caring, and polite. He provided extras that made the stay more enjoyable, such as items for beach recreation, pet care/safety (water dishes, balls, play toys), fenced property, and a very reasonable price for the location. Restaurants/grills along the main drag are informal and the food was excellent - great burgers, Mexican, and other meals. Check-out was easy - run the dishwasher and lock-up, which was a LOT easier than some of the other bnb's where we've stayed. We especially appreciated how "welcoming" and secure his place was for our frenchies. We absolutely would stay there again and are glad to recommend his place.

We had an absolutely awesome stay at this beachfront Airbnb! Zane is an amazing host, and very attentive. The location couldn’t be better, right on the beach with stunning views of the ocean from the amazing balcony. We were able to fish and even caught a small shark! It was the perfect spot for morning coffees and evening sunsets. The interior of the house is beautiful, with stylish decor and all the comforts of home. Our dogs loved the fenced yard, which gave them plenty of space to play safely (they even have dog bowls for the pups!) The property felt very private and exclusive, adding an extra layer of relaxation to our vacation. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a serene getaway by the sea!

We had a great family vacation with a very private beach. We visited in the beginning of April and had an easy drive to Galveston for some shopping and a great dinner. It was a lovely home base in a quiet location!
