This location has a pretty cool setup! It is a bit of a drive to anything but that is what I was there for. I came the first week of October so everything is kind of shutting down for the year. When I arrived the top velcro on the door flap was missing so the door wouldn't shut all the way. The staff onsite were very helpful (shoutout Elliot) in trying to help solve the problem. In the end they were not able to fix it at the time and moved me into a cabin. I wish I would have gotten to sleep under the stars as planned but appreciated them helping me out and upgrading me to solve the problem. The staff helped build fires and hung out with us. They were a pretty fun group. It is right by a loud street and train tracks so not particularly quiet all night but definitely worth the stay overall.

Caution to Future Guests: • Broken door (missing top Velcro): Substantial, unsealed gaps allow bugs, wind, and rain inside. • Cleanliness issues: Notable stains on a blanket, rust on top, a damp and unclean floor, and an unsanitary mosquito net. • No heater or electricity. The battery power didn't work. • Reality fails to match the appealing photos. Our Experience: At 40 degrees, it was freezing inside. Rain and wind entered through the defective door, making sleep unattainable. When seeking assistance, Devon asked for a $40 charge for a cabin switch, presenting a 'take it or leave it' attitude (The location is in the middle of nowhere, with no cell service on a rainy night). No apologies for the unacceptable room conditions provided to us. FYI, we didn't complain; we asked if there was anything he could do. Devon was the worst host we have ever experienced. However, the onsite staff was incredible.

I personally thought this was a cool experience to sleep in one of these dome tents. One thing I know is out of their control are other people on the camp site I wasn’t able to fall asleep to midnight due to other campers being loud but that’s okay. You will hear the road and train throughout the night but it’s not unbearable. I really enjoyed how friendly the workers at the tavern were. I just wish the light/charge thing would work in the dome. I felt completely safe there and really enjoyed the views at night from the dome. The one down side is the doors Velcro was so dirty that it wouldn’t shut all the way so bugs got in but they do have a bug net that goes over the bed. The Wi-Fi did work when I was sleeping in this dome but I only had one bar for it and no cell service so be prepared. I would have rather paid a little cheaper due to the bedding did have stains in it and the door not closing plus the light not working but overall it was still a great experience.
