My wife and I reveled in our stay at Rowena's unique Airbnb, a luxuriously converted stable. Impeccably clean, it felt like a horse butler might appear at any moment! Our wee dog also enjoyed the stay, adding to the charm of the serene, rural setting. Rowena's hospitality was outstanding, striking the perfect balance of presence and privacy. For a quirky, comfortable retreat with a hint of equine elegance, Rowena's place is ideal.

This place would be great if you were staying for a vacation during the spring/summer so you could really enjoy the pool, hot tub & outdoor areas of Rowena & Ben's airbnb. We were in the process of relocating and moving house so stayed here for a month (March 2023). The power shower was excellent, the bed was comfortable and the kitchen was fine for preparing everyday, simple meals (the local pub was closed for refurbishment). Unfortunately the wifi was intermittent so it wasn't easy to work from there. There were a number of village wide powercuts which affected the main house and our room (Victor). Rowena was very fast at moving us to Chino which was unaffected by the cuts and overall we felt Chino was much better laid out for long rentals (eg; there was a wardrobe in Chino, Victor didn't have one). There was a slight misunderstanding from both parties re their pet policy; please note if you are bringing a pet this Airbnb is only suitable for dogs. Recommended but not luxury.
