We absolutely loved staying in Alejandra”s houseboat Emma! We’re always looking for unique accommodations and this was definitely one. Alejandra was an absolutely wonderful host! She met us at the boat and showed us all the instructions we’d need to know. She was very responsive and always available for a question. The houseboat was a in a convenient location not far from an overground station. It was clean and had everything we’d need for a short stay. One note, my husband is 6 feet tall and did not easily fit into the small shower as the ceiling is low. Not an issue for our short stay though! We loved our visit and would highly recommend it!

Wir hatten eine wundervolle Nacht in Alejandras Boot mit zwei Erwachsenen plus ein Kleinkind. Das Boot ist sehr süß und geschmackvoll möbliert. Alle nötige Ausstattung ist vorhanden. Es war herrlich, abends bei bollerndem Ofen gemütlich auf der Couch sitzend mit den Wellen zu schaukeln. Der Empfang war sehr herzlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Little narrow boat Emma, such a delight. If you can manage a motor home you can do this. Good little weekender experience. The area we were in can get a little noisy, it’s a popular running / walking path. The boat moves every 2 weeks so probably not always. Oscar and Alejandra are excellent hosts.

5 stars doesn’t seem enough, Alejandra was an amazing host! We were met in person on check-in and taken through everything on the boat. Although the boat moves every couple of weeks, it was easy to find where it was docked, near many restaurants and a local market around 15 min walk away. The boat had everything you could need from cooking supplies to toiletries (found through a treasure hunt!!). The seating area is the bed too, the shower and toilet did the job and the little wood stove keeps you very warm! It is a canal boat so just the right size for 2 people. Alejandra was quick to respond to messages and sorted out any queries we had. A quirky, unique stay made extra special as Alejandra kindly provided a cake and banner for my birthday, this was over and above! Thank you for your hospitality Alejandra and letting us stay on Emma, would highly recommend for a unique experience!
