Wake up to the serenity of this unique riverfront property situated on 44 acres less than 15 minutes to Port Macquarie & Wauchope town centres. Bring your fishing rods, crab pots, kayaks & SUP's for fun filled adventure or just relax overlooking the beautiful Hastings River. The property grows bushtucker onsite so you can take a leisurely stroll through the Lemon Myrtle, Davidson plum & Riberry trees or watch the cattle grazing nearby. Fully self contained home consists of 2 large bedrooms , the main has a walk in robe for extra storage. Bed 2 consists of 1 queen bed with 2 single bunks suitable for children. Large living area & kitchen have extensive high ceilings which leads onto a spacious deck overlooking the Hastings river. BBQ, firepit & fishing all at your back door where you can enjoy the most amazing sunsets. We can cater for an additional caravan or 2 for friends at an additional cost if needed.

Was great. As presented on the listing. Lots of space, well equiped. Could fit 6 adults with no issue. Enough seats in the living room for everyone! Great fishing spot. Friendly hosts.
We are a family of 4 and we loved staying at The Little House on the River. It was the R&R we needed, surrounded by paddocks of cows & fishing at the river. Neil was very welcoming and we were greeted with an assortment of goodies including homemade jam from the native plums on the property. We loved utilising the river for fishing and Neil showed us how to catch mud crabs. We arrived on a full moon, with the fish jumping in the river, each night there was a picturesque sunset by the outdoor fire pit. The space inside was really comfortable for our family of 4. We took our boat and Neil helped us get it in and out of the water and helped us with local knowledge of fishing spots and where to pump nippers. We immersed ourselves in the lifestyle of the property (with the help of Gayle & Neil) and had the best time :)
We absolutely loved our stay here! The living space is much bigger than it appears on the listing, and the surroundings are so tranquil. It was so peaceful and relaxing and Gayle was a great host. Would highly recommend and we would love to come back!

Our stay at Gayle and Neil's was nothing short of fantastic! From the moment we arrived, we felt like we had discovered a hidden gem. Gayle and Neil are both fantastic hosts who made us enjoy our trip so much! The location couldn't have been better – within walking distance to the river where you could fish all day. Gayle thought of everything! The kitchen was well-equipped, with amenities and also some locally made products. Gayle was super responsive, accommodating, and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was exceptional. We can't wait to return on our next visit!
